Watched an older black comedy called The House of Yes. Weird, kind of funny, pretty good but not fantastic. It starred Parker Posey. She did the best crazy I've ever seen!

Just watched Tucker and Dale Vs Evil. Couple hillbilly rednecks (Alan Tudyk (firefly) and Tyler Labine (reaper)) are terrorized by a group of college kids. Basically, its the Shaun of the Dead for the hillbilly slasher flick. Loved it.

Just watched Tucker and Dale Vs Evil. Couple hillbilly rednecks (Alan Tudyk (firefly) and Tyler Labine (reaper)) are terrorized by a group of college kids. Basically, its the Shaun of the Dead for the hillbilly slasher flick. Loved it.

I really liked that one as well.

Watched Kickass on the weekend with a friend who hadn't seen it. We were having a Mark Strong conversation and it went on from there.

Yesterday I watched Hunger Games (and Dear John, but that doesn't count ) and I thought it was rather good, although I sometimes had the feeling that the cameraman was a bit drunk at some points And I luuurve Stanly Tucci!

Just back from watching MIB III it was really enjoyable with an neat little twist near the end,late 60's Stones and 70s rock music.

Dark Shadows - was pretty good, pacing was a bit odd but it was funny. Sometimes I think Tim Burton keeps trying to make normal films and Johnny Depp turns up dressed as a vampire or something and they have to do weird and spooky instead.

Didn't really know where to post this, but since I'm watching it right now, I thought it was OK...

Has anyone heard of the Hungarian movie "The Witness". It's a cult movie over here (it's even an item for my Hungarian exam!), but it deserves it, really, because it's great, and directed in 1969 (!!), right in the very middle of the socialism (so they immediately forbade it ), but now that I really have to learn something about it other than just enjoy watching it, I discovered that there's an IMDb page for it and that the quotes* are in English. So I thought, is there an English subtitled version of The Witness? Or has anyone seen it, or just hear about it?

Saw Dark Shadows, worst movie of the past couple of...months? years? I don't think anyone, not even Tim Burton took that movie seriously, honestly...

Edit: there was this one scene, which was almost exactly like in Death Becomes Her... only Meryl Streep was Michelle Pfeiffer and Goldie Hawn was Eva Green
