that was only a small part of the first half of the movie anyway. Andrew was such a tragic villain. i felt kinda bad for him actually (and the kid playing him did a good job)
Finally got to see Avengers! Hubby got a couple days off on comp time for having to spend over a week in DC, so we got to go out and have an actual date, movie and lunch, while the girls were in school. Opted to try 3D for the first time. Kind of fun, but also somewhat distracting and not nearly as impressive as we were expecting. It wasn't worth the extra money. Thought the movie was a lot of fun! Really enjoyed it. Thought the new Bruce Banner was pretty good, but Ed Norton would have been so much better, especially in scenes where he interacted with Tony Stark. And, even though we saw the earliest showing, with only 3 other people in the theater, it totally reconfirmed our preference for waiting for DVD and watching movies at home on our own big screen.

Unless you're talking Imax, 3D isn't worth it. its nice, but meh. But then again IMAX is worth it regardless of 3D or not. but that's me. As a kid watching Captain EO was fun though
