No, it was the one where one race with no fire power (but with curiously advanced mind control) convinced the crew that one of them was first officer, and they were at war with another race (also no fire power).

I watched Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame. Good movie! Fun, good story, great action. Although a little more action would have been great since I had to sit through subtitles.

Dark Shadows.

What!!? Are Tim Burton et al getting senile? It has some funny moments, but it was mostly very awful. Johnny Depp seemed really bored and not bothered. Don't blame him.

Recently caught Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom. If you're not familiar with Anderson, he's the director of offbeat independent films like The Royal Tannenbaums and Rushmore. Moonrise Kingdom may be his best yet--a beautifully directed, character-driven comic 'little' movie about children who act like adults and adults who act like children.

Just got back from watching a colleague in 12th Night Fever at his am dram theatre group. They're an amazingly professional outfit and it was a fabulous performance! Last saw them performing The Wedding Singer which I absolutely loved!

Watched Woman in Black last night. Good scary parts! Had me peeking through my fingers a couple of times. Ok story, not fabulous. It was the first non-HP movie I've seen Daniel Radcliffe in and I'm pleased to say that I didn't spend the whole movie thinking, "That's Harry Potter." There was just one brief scene where I thought that.
