Ayup All...

Hi Guys... Sorry its been a while. Been one of those Breaks again...

I've been Unemployed now for a coupla Months, and It's been tough. But I recently discovered TCOM (Part1) Going Postal and Hogfather (Watching P2 ATMO, it's on pause...) on my XBox live 'Sky' Drama channel inbetween Jobhunting Online and Modelling. Now I've been watching these again, and Have to say, am thoroughly enjoying them. Especially 'Going Postal'. I dunno what it is, but I find Clare Foy as Adora, and Charles Dance, as Vetinari, Utterly Compelling. As Brendan Coyle as Moist is. David Suchet as Reaper Gilt, is a very good Baddie too. Apart from the odd bit of Miscasting (Timothy West as Weatherwax or Ridcully ?) and of course DJ as Rincewind, no offence, but they're all really enjoyable. But I'm having to really 'Watch' the Tooth Fairy Castle' bits as I still find them slightly confusing. Now, DJ casted as Albert in this, well, that's a DIFFERENT matter. Top Performance. (PS I think Tony Robinson is crap in this as well. And Nigel Planer. but that may be down to too much 'Baldrick' and 'Neil' Character associations). As Sky, Bless them, don't want me to leave to Virgin Media, even though I'm Literally skint to my Uppers, they've given me free Sky for 3 Months, no Obligations. That, for once, is good service. See you all around. Hope you're all well.

Watched Woman in Black last night. Good scary parts! Had me peeking through my fingers a couple of times. Ok story, not fabulous. It was the first non-HP movie I've seen Daniel Radcliffe in and I'm pleased to say that I didn't spend the whole movie thinking, "That's Harry Potter." There was just one brief scene where I thought that.
Watched it on Friday (usually takes a bit of persuading to pin me down to a DVD) It was scary enough for a 12 rated movie and DR played his part very well. Lots of overacting from support cast. Kept thinking of the League of Gentlemen

Went to see Snow White & the Huntsman last Thursday. A much darker film than Mirror Mirror, which we saw a week before, but just as enjoyable.
Though seeing Bob Hoskins & Ian McShane as Dwarfs, was a bit weird. It was very well done & the special effects get better & better. The acting was excellent.

I watched -

Despicable Me
Megamind

Loved them both.

Oh, and The Hunger Games, which I liked also.

I actually saw some of snow white and the huntsman being filmed.....last year i was working for a company doing all the portable loo's (yes i know ) for the shooting up here in the lakes, they were filming up in a cave called the cathedral near langdale and they also were shooting at a little tarn nearby too....they seemed to have chosen the wettest weeks possible to film weather was very much like this.

He was very good at it too!

You are like me, Antiq, love going to kids films, though Snow White is actually 12a. There is a lot of violence in it.

Oooohh! Wish I'd been there, did you see any of the cast, particulary Ian McShane? I adored him in Lovejoy.

Welcome to the forum too BTW.
