Started watching Star Trek: The Next Generation, from the beginning. Can't believe I'd forgotten this, but there's a man wearing a scant (the Star Trek mini-dress) in the pilot episode  Obviously they didn't want to look sexist for having Deanna Troi showing her goodies off, so they had a man in one too! Bizarre! Also I was struck by how grumpy and shouty everyone was. Roll on season 4!

Yes, I remember that man. I think the mini dress looks pretty good on him oddly enough.

I find some of those early episodes a bit painful to watch. Worf's head was enormous in those ones.

War Horse with the lad. Was a bit worried it was going to be too heavy going at first, well it was but led us into some good discussions about war and human nature. Always good see Loki  It did stray too far into humanising the horse's behaviour at one point.

We went to see Skyfall this afternoon at our brand new fancy smanzy cinema/venue place in the town. It's the 1st proper cinema for many, many years and it was just like going to the multiplex in Aberdeen! We were very impressed - and we really enjoyed the film too!

It depends on what one you go to Bouncy, but in London West end at least £10-12 for a cheap seat, but local maybe £9 go on a cheap day or in the afternoon weekdays for £2- 2.50 reduction a senior pass gets a reduction any time except on cheap days.

I don't think Bouncy is a senior just yet, even if she does read the Daily Mail.

I haven't been to the cinema in years, but I always used to go to the earliest showing of the day as it was considerably cheaper and there was hardly anyone else there. I really don't understand the attraction of paying a fortune to be squashed into a noisy and full cinema.

Cost us £4 each - 3 adults - which I think was a great price, although it was lunchtime on a Wednesday. Last time we went to the flicks down south (Bishop Stortford) it cost over £50 for the 4 of us - although that did include popcorn and drinks.

I really enjoyed Skyfall, Dug. Much better than QoS and on a par with Casino Royale. Be prepared for a few changes!

It's been years since I went to the cinema, but this time I took some information because my bf would like to see Skyfall. It's 8 euro in the evening, 6,20 in early afternoon. We'll see.
I've watched Mirror mirror these days... Julia Roberts was quite comfortable playing the evil b**ch, but watching Snowwhite I couldn't concentrate on the movie, I couldn't help it and kept thinking 'isn't she freezing rolling over in the snow with only a light shirt on, and even bare shoulders??' . She did look beautiful though

Madagascar3 today. It was OK, watchable, but not as good as the previous films in that series. There were moments that were good, but I didn't laugh out loud. :)
