We just finished watching season 1. About 5 episodes in I thought I might give up on it, but it definitely improved by the end of the season. The best character is the werewolf!
Munroe. God, I love Munroe. Without a doubt my favorite character on the show. Second is the asian cop. most of his stuff is one liners, but they are the best one liners.

I love almost anything that Silas Weir Mitchell (Monroe) has been in
and right now I'm waiting for their Christmas break to be over it started really early this season the latest show aired on November the 16th
Monroe is brilliant, and so is the Asian cop, but currently he seems to have disappeared and some big, white guy cop is the go to guy for the last 2 or so eppys.
I know! Thank god they didn't give her more lines. And I swear she only ever has one expression on her face. She's too young to be Botoxed up, so I wonder what the deal with that is?
Saw The Hobbit yesterday. Brilliant film, excellent acting, special effects & lovely scenery.  It is rather long though & I had to rush to the loo when it finished. It is also a noisy film.
Dark Shadows was... well, not the worst movie I've ever seen cause I have other nominees for that one, but it's pretty close. I had this feeling as if Tim Burton had too much money and thought, "ah, well, I can aswell spend it on some good times with me pal Johnny... what genre? Well... let's say all of'em!" Also, the dialogues felt really forced and that werwolf girl at the end was just ridiculous
Course, if you feel otherwise, that's fine by me
Have to agree with you mC. I don't remember any of it really making me laugh, maybe smile a little. And yes, the werewolf at the end - how random was that?! I usually love the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp movies, but this one fell far short. Glad you enjoyed it though Dug. That's worth £5.
