I saw Journey 2-the misterious island on tv (why journey 2? there was a journey 1 before?) . No more no less than what I expected from the title and the fact that the Rock was part of it.
Good that it was on tv, though, because right at the beginning it made me shout out loud 'Make copies, make copies!! you don't rip pages off books, you sacrilegious man!!'

I also watched Prometheus... and honestly the only nice thing I can say about it is that it had Fassbender in it, but that was the only positive bit. The rest was stupid characters, with stupid lines, and very very stupid deaths. Come to think of it, they should have put the 'so many dumb ways to die' as soundtrack!

Watched Seven Psychopaths - if you liked In Bruges, you'll love this ;)
I thought that looked good! Looking forward to seeing it.

We watched Frankenweenie last night. Thought it was good, but not quite as good as I'd hoped. And, you definitely have to be cautious if you have a sensitive child.

Django Unchained - first two thirds were great, last third was a dull, self indulgent mess. 6.5/10

Life of Pi - just loved it. Excellent story and acting, also beautifully shot. 9/10

The Sweeney - Ray Winston is Jack Reagan - really good - violent and funny and, well, violent, car chases, gunfights in Trafalgar Square, blags by toe-rags and get your trousers on: you're nicked.

8/10 - not 9 because they didn't make good use of the classic theme music
