I found a pretty good documentary series whilst mooching about called Oddities I'm enjoying it a lot despite some of it's really obvious staging but what I'm really doing is window shopping I love the weird and unusual and a lot of the customers who come in are a damn site weirder than the object them selfs

Got my S1-S4 boxset of Castle last week, and watched S3 and S4 over the weekend.

Channel Five fupping about soooo much over S4 (making way after about 5 eppys for Big Ruddy Brother) that the rest of the season isn't due to air until 2014, that I forked out for the discs.

Now I'm climbing the walls for S5, and it hasn't even finished airing the States yet!

I discovered this YouTube video of a documentary about a group of salvage experts who try to repair and fly a B-29 bomber that crash landed in Greenland and has sat pretty much undisturbed for 50 years. It's a really fascinating show and well worth a look.

I thought it was rather good, I'm glad he made it into three films.
Me too! I sooo want to buy the DVD but it's still new and awfully expensive, will have to wait a year or two :(
I'm waiting for the extended edition which is due out at the end of the year about a month or so before the second film hits the cinemas. The extended LOTR films made much more sense than the theatrical releases so I'm hoping for the same with the Hobbit

I've just watched Red Dwarf Back To Earth. I really enjoyed that. Love the Blade Runner references throughout.
I found it hard to enjoy due to the lack of canned laughter. The new series is worth watching though.

I've just bought a bunch of cheesy films to cheer up me & Mr Dotsie (the house renovations are a pain a the moment). Tonight, it was Dude, Where's My Car? Not very sophisticated perhaps, but we think it's hilarious

Actually, I believe some of Red Dwarf was actually filmed in front of an audience.

Then again, I may be wrong.
Indeed it was. Most of the early episodes were filmed in front of an audience, so the laughter and reactions were natural. Back To Earth wasn't though and it's surprising how different it is.
