Man of Steel left me kinda cold too. Slow start, lots of action to finish but I was sorta "yeah and what else you got?"

Kick Ass 2 - disappointing sequel, didn't have the charm of the original.

This is the End - excruciatingly annoying

The World's End - Pegg and Frost and it had it's moments but not, I think, as good as either Hot Fuzz or Shaun of the Dead.

Red 2 - actually pretty good - star studded cast - very funny

Iron Man 3 - a bit stale

I relented & went to a 'Chicks at the Flicks' for the first time with some girlfriends last night. The movie was The Delivery Man which wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Almost but not quite. I got a bag of free crap which was nice.

However, the best bit was the trailer I saw for this movie,

The Book Thief! One of my all-time favourite books. It looks like they've done a good job as well. Love Geoffery Rush, he is perfect as Hans Hubermann . It's my new 'must see', I think it's release date is January so that's something to look forward to.

I really want to see that one! we were at the cinema yesterday and with all the trailers I was lie owwww that's on my list! And that one aswell! Ooh and that looks interesting! :p
We watched Hunger Games - Catching Fire, it was really good, mind you, it's a long one, so if anyone wants to see it, here's some advice: don't drink a liter of water before the film :p

31st January for the Book Thief in UK apparently. A wonderful book Dug, recommend reading it.
We tried to see the new Hunger Games yesterday but it was sold out (just a small cinema). Might have to book now to see The Desolation of Smaug if we want a chance of getting in.
I just watched QI XL - Kinky. Hilarious

Yeah, the DVDs. :( We only have Netflix, no cable. We could probably see them sooner if we subscribe to something like Hulu Plus, but as long as we have something else to watch when we want to, we can wait. I guess.

I've been watching and enjoying the Australian series, The Doctor Blake Mysteries and was trying to think where I'd seen the main star before. The name certainly rang a bell.

Doctor Blake:

And one of his Neighbours.
