Watched After Earth starring Will smith and his son. not bad, thought the "monster" (the ursa) looked awesome but it was only shown near the end of the film (apart from the small clips from flashbacks etc. the rest of the movie was dissapointing.
I walked out after 20 mins, one of the worst films I'd seen last year, I think it was just done to promote his sons career in films, load of SSssssshhhhhtt by the bucketful. :x
Last night, The Sixth Sense (charity shop find). Forgot how understated and powerful this film is. Quite hypnotic in fact. Just shows that you don't have to go over the top to make a point.
We watched Red 2 last night. I was so worried I wouldn't enjoy it, but it was great! John Malkovich and Mary Louise Parker absolutely steal the show, just like they did in the first one.
It's excellent I gave a full set of DVD's to my sister for Christmas as she loves detective drama and this is a great example. Have you tried Borgen as well?

We watched The World's End last night... those guys are still brilliant, although I thought the morality and general idea of the film resembled that of Hot Fuzz... which I still think is the best one of the "trilogy".
and Hot Fuzz was filmed in Wells, not far from the Discworld Emporium so can be done as an easy day trip from most south west England locations. I stayed at the hotel featured in Hot Fuzz the last time I visited Bernard
i watched gravity yesterday and its brilliant, sandra bullock was having a really bad day though
and this afternoon i watched thor 2 and enjoyed that as well, more eye candy for women though than me though natalie portman is just to skinny
Just been making my way through a few episodes at a time of the Originals, really good just got one to watch also be catching up with Lost Girl and Grimm.
I haven't had a chance to watch much lately but I did get to see ep 1 of Vikings with Neil Oliver. It was great! Shall definitely try and watch all in the series.
