Watched Guardians of the Galaxy. Second only to The Avengers in the Marvel films line-up. Not particularly deep and meaningful, but still pretty much pure distilled entertainment. Plus, as I said elsewhere, it has Zoe Saldana as a green-skinned space babe, Karen Gillian as a blue, bald cyborg, Vin Diesel as a tree...and a talking raccoon who is overly fond of fully automatic weaponry.

Guardians of the Galaxy was amazing! Very, very funny. Slightly ruined by an idiot at the back of the cinema yelling out plot points as they were about to happen towards the end

Went to see transformers 4 with my dad last night, really shouldn't have gotten my hopes up after Michael Bay's last 3 abominations of attempts at transformers films. At least he's consistent, in a consistently ruining Transformers kind of way!!! No consideration for the fans or original storylines really, but hey, as long as there's flash cars, even flasher car chase scenes, and massive explosions, that's what makes a great movie right? Storyline's irrelevant, right? Wrong Mr. Bay, DEAD wrong!! :( :(

The new Turtles film is him as well is it? Blast! I saw the trailer for it in the cinema last night and as reboot's go it looked promising, but now that you've said Bay's doing that one too, my hopes are dashed!! Ah well. I hope J.J. Abrahams does the new star wars some sort of justice at least. Cant do any worse than Lucas's attempt at episode 1 anyway! still see Jar Jar Binks in my nightmares, Shudder!!!

Yeah, sadly I do Ghost :| Damn Disney and their ever encroaching tentacles of greed! Marvel, star wars, they want to own all the big franchises. Bit ironic really, that the big company they portray in Wall.E, the one that eventually owns EVERYTHING on the planet and wrecks it, it is the very thing Disney is becoming :|

S1 Dirk Gently, very good.
I actually think the TV series is better than the books. :)
I think you're on to something there, great stories and Steve Mangan is the business. But I love, love, love The Long Dark Tea-Time Of The Soul.

Love it.
I loved that one too Jen! I'll have to re-read it. It's been a long time.
