One film many different names Carved 2, The Scissors Massacre, Slit mouthed women 2, Kuchisake-onna 2 well I don't know what I've just seen all I can say I've been trying to see this film for the last 2 years since I saw the first Carved movie and what I can say it was much better from what I thought it would be a little slow though out the film but the acting and pay off was more than worth the wait and could easily be viewed as a stand alone film without watching the first movie

Expendables 3 - old men playing with guns and blowing things up; Sly and the crew take on a Mel Gibson small army, lots of whizz bang crash and death toll must be near a thousand, but strangely scarce a drop of blood on screen, all good stuff shows how much fun war can be. I guess they'll keep making them until they stop making money - and I'll keep watching them while they do...
I'm looking forward to watching that one. Still disappointed that Jackie Chan wasn't in it.

MarK reads discworld led me to Mark watches Star Trek and I've been rewatching all the old Star Trek TOS episodes prior to his posted reviews - I did pay for one of the videos as an experiment but I didn't really get the appeal, but I have been enjoying revisiting Kirk and co.

Been watching The Flash which is much like Arrow, though a little less dark.

Yeah; watching someone watch a show? I don't get it. Perhaps if it was split screen with the show on one side and his reaction on the other... no doubt there'd be copyright issues, and even then the more you get into the episode the more he'd just become a distraction. However I do enjoy the written reviews and am occasionaly suprised, like recently he did the Nazi episode and he was shocked and outraged, calling it inappropriate and suchlike which I didn't understand since, you know, the Nazis were portrayed as the bad guys. Maybe it's an American thing? I don't know...

 Star Trek does love Nazi episodes. There was a double episode in both Voyager and Enterprise with Nazis and aliens wearing SS uniforms. I often chuckle at the various episodes and the way they put down right-wing thinking and religion. :)

I do like classic movies. They have so much and can teach everyone a lot of things. Well they're just enjoyable. So if I watch something it's (90-95%) good old or not very old movie.

Watched Warhorse on broadcast TV last night, better than I expected.

Discovered a SciFi channel series, Z Nation - post zombie apocalypse nonsense, obviously inspired by Walking Dead (which I gave up on in season 3). made by the Asylum it's somewhat lighter in tone, though not quite as tongue in cheek as Zombieland, about midway between the two. Saw the first two episodes, all good bubblegum.

Watching the new season of The Big Bang Theory - the format is looking as old, fat and tired as the main cast. The writers had a chance to mix it up a little and change things around during the break (with Sheldon going off on an adventure), but all they had the courage to do was give Penny a haircut. Bernadette and Amy are the only ones supplying any real laughs these days.

We found DVD of Harvey (Jimmy Stewart). Daughter hadn't seen it before. Still a great movie.
Also (speaking of flattening right wing thinking good and proper) we watched Good Morning Vietnam, another great one. We're spoiling ourselves this week ;)
