We've recently watched a bunch of older movies, Ghostbusters, The Goonies, Gremlins. The girls really got a kick out of them, and they held up better than I expected.

We've finished watching the first season of The Flash. Really enjoying it! And have just started Jessica Jones, pretty good so far.

Went to Burnt last week, really great portrayal of high end kitchen work. The romantic end of the storyline doesn't quite work but would say it is one of the best restaurant films I've come across

Watched Raiders of the Lost Ark the other night. I love that movie! Haven't seen it in ages, and the girls had never seen it.

Hubby and I watched the first season of iZombie and it was really good! Something along the lines of Dead Like Me.

I watched the first season of Broadchurch and loved it! Got a couple episodes into the 2nd season and it's a train wreck. Don't know if I can keep watching.

I’ve been watching a lot of David Suchet’s Poirot lately (Appointment with death is great) just to get me in the mood for the upcoming adaptation of ‘And then there were none’ and Sherlock. :p

yes it is but it gets a bit repetitive by the middle of season 2 I wish it wasn't a US exclusive series more people need to see this show

We've seen a few good movies recently. Ant Man - loved it! Expected to like it at least, but didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Tomorrowland, which I had pretty low expectations for actually turned out to be pretty good. And, The Martian. I enjoyed that one more than I was expecting too!

Can't say I'm too surprised by that. But, still looking forward to it. We'll see how it goes.

I watched Kingsman: The Secret Service. I'd never heard of it before. One of the kids brought it home and said it's got Colin Firth ( :romance-inlove: ) in it & I should watch it. Well, what an eye-opener and no mistake. It's a bit hit and miss but overall I liked it. I don't know what this says about me but I watched Colin Firth's fight in the church more than once.

I won't recommend it as such. If you liked Kick Ass you'd prob like this one (Same comic book writers and director).
