Am waiting on a few films from play.com. Anyone seen The orphanage? Think it's the guy that made Pans labyrinth that's made it.
Hope it's good, it got mostly positive feedback on play.
It's Guillermo Del Toro, & I do like his films, but I won't say anything about The Orphanage because I don't want to spoil it! It's kind of like The Devil's Backbone (also Del Toro), but not as extreme.

And for the record, I love Will Smith. Love him. Mr Dotsie just pulls this face  so I don't think he's worried

I like him too, although I can see where he'd get to people. You remind me of Mr. Catch-up, who pulls a face everytime I want to watch something with Denzel Washington in it.

Why Denzel Washington? He's not THAT bad...

Oh, after having threatened to watch it for weeks, we finally got round to watching Reservoir Dogs last night on dvd for the first time. You can really tell it's a Tarantino film  although I think I would've enjoyed it more if I hadn't seen Pulp Fiction before that, which is just... better, in my opinion. Still a good watch though! Chris Penn is awful though, no surprises there ;)

Hmm, I wanna buy Blood Diamond on DVD too, I watched it not so long ago at a friend's place and it was AWESOME! Leo Di CadburyButtons (we used to call him that when we were kids...) struggled with his accent at times, but it's all good. If you haven't seen it, WATCH IT, it's an incredibly powerful film that had me gripped all the way through.

Seconded. I probably wouldn't have to chosen to watch it (not a Leo fan), but I was on a plane at the time. And it was an excellent film.

I watched The Bucket List with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. It's about what you'd expect. Depressing. It wasn't as funny as I'd hoped either. I always love watching Morgan Freeman, and usually enjoy watching Jack Nicholson too, but he was just weird in this movie.

Spoiler Warning Hitman !!!!!!

_ Finally got around to watching Hitman and it was a good movie considering it is based around a computer game. The only silly bit that spoilt it for me was the Sword fight scene, no way a professional Hitman is going to give up a fire arm in place of a Sword.

8 out of 10. 8)

May watch it again soon!

Just watched V for Vendetta for the first time. I've never read the graphic novel but I thought the film was excellent.

The current government policy of terrifying everyone that the Britain is full of terrorists and making sure that no one protests about anything fitted quite nicely with the storyline.

I watched Spiderwick last night with my friend. It's very good & the creature technology is brilliant. I love films with creepy creatures in them.

Liked Blood diamond, but it could have been half an hour shorter in my opinion...

Saw Deception with Hugh Jackman, Ewan McGregor and the promiscuous girl from Dawsons Creek the other night. Really horribly bad, stay clear unless you have absolutely nothing better to do - give it 1/10.

Hmmm I didn't really like Juno. The fact was, it's supposed to be a serious topic, but neither she nor her parents took it very seriously at all. I think she got the snuffles at one point. I can't help but think it would have affected them all a bit more than that.
