Watched the new Terminator film tonight, formulaic story line lots of Robots and explosions...... seen it all before if you have seen the others but beefed up in the action department.... 6/10 scored. If you have a choice between this Movie and the New Star Trek I would say beam Me up Scotty. :)

Watched Galaxy Quest on SkyTV .... again, love that film... best Star Trek rip off ever and Sigourney Weaver is still eye candy that I can live with even if She was no spring chicken at the time the film was shot ! 8) 7/10

Rip off?

Is a brilliant spoof and Alan Rickman's wonderful in it too - certainly one to see when you're fed up with your final frontiers :p
Tis Hilarious! My fave part is where the "driver"? takes the ship out of the space dock and slowly, scrapes it down the side of the port... I thought I would laugh meself silly. Oops already there, suppose I would have to laugh meself Sillier.

We saw UP a couple of weekends ago, very cute and fun. My only complaints are the sad parts, and the fact that they showed all the funniest parts in the trailers. I hate when they do that!

Rented Inkheart a couple nights ago - very good! I actually enjoyed it more than the book, which I got a little bored with. Of course, the double bonus of Brendan Frasier and Paul Bettany helped. ;)

Saw Seven Pounds on DVD, a bit too mushy for my liking, with the occasional gaping plot hole.

Also watched Angels & Demons (not that bad, about what you'd expect from the last film) and Push (I'd never even heard of it before I watched it in Turkey last week - above par X-men type film).

Hopefully going to see Transformers this weekend. Psycho robots, yeah!

Oooh Good one Dotsie!

Still in Gran Torino mode... "Get Off My Lawn" Like I said in another thread, Vimes sounds just like Clint Eastwood to me, of course I HAD to see it while reading Guards!Guards!, I shall Never think of Dirty Harry Without Pink Slippers with Pom-Poms on them again. Oh Gads the Madnesssss!!! Muahahahahahahahahahaha!

Saw Coraline and Inkheart on the flight back. I haven't read the books so I can't say how well adapted they were. I enjoyed them though (as much as you can on an aircraft titchy screen).
