Most of series 2 Doctor Who ... Michael McIntyre again ... SOO funny ... thinking of putting one of his gags in my sig ... It goes something like this ...

'A good review of a book is when it is called a page-turner ... now ... this is the least I expect of a book! Can you imagine someone asking you ... 'Is it good?' 'I don't know pages don't turn ... it's a block not a book!'

Well you get the idea ... it is funny though!

Hopefully watch the first Spiderman film sometime soon ... haven't seen that in ages.

Just started watching the first series of True Blood. Picked up the set from the library. I was very reluctant, because I love the books. I'm now several episodes in and while it took some getting used to at first, I really like it now!

We watched "The girl who played with fire" the other day. It was quite good when compared to the book. A few things annoyed me however, but i wont mention them in case someone in here is planning on seeing it soon. Am not gonna be a spoiler....

I've only seen the first few episodes of True Blood, but I'm liking it as long as I pretend it has nothing to do with the books :p

I would love to see Avatar at the cinema too  Not sure if it's a realistic aim at the moment, but it looks suitably impressive to serve as my first cinema trip since I saw Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban :)

I'm pretty sure that Avatar doesn't come from a book. It's something the director has been working on for years. He's an artist amongst other things and he's been drawing the characters and settings for ages. :)

True Blood the Sookie Stackhouse series. Avatar not as far as I know was in book form apart from the film script.

On the plane coming back from Tucson:

Star Trek - very enjoyable and I'd like to see it again on a bigger screen. Although I'm not sure how they justify the whoile messing up of the timeline. o_O

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - I know I read the book, but recognised almost nothing in the movie.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - Most enjoyable and (I thought) well made. I missed the last bit because we arrived at London so don't know how it ended. Don't tell me though!!! I'll either get the movie or look up a synopsis. ;)

Well, why not? It all still happened (IMO), just in a different timeline - which means plenty more adventures, hurray!

Probably I just need more time to digest it. The destruction of Vulcan is a pretty huge problem though.

But how many times did we see the place though? I can only remember three times I think. Boring place anyway. Spock's better off on Earth
