Watched Get Smart.
Alan Arkin was great, along with the rest of the amazing cast.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Are you thinking 'Oh shit oh shit I almost got speared by a swordfish'? Because if you are, then yes, I'm thinking what you're thinking."
I'm old enough to remember the original TV series.

Went to the cinema on Saturday to see Rock'n'Rolla. It was a really good film.

The Neverending Story was on TV on Sunday so I watched that with my daughter who got excited at the sight of the Luck Dragon.

Just watched The Orphanage (spanish with subtitles). I thought it was great, same sort of thing as The Others but better. Spooky (not really scary though) and very sad :(

There's a rock formation in Monument Valley, Arizona that's called the Luck Dragon, because it looks a bit like the dragon with his chin on the ground.

Here's a photo I took of it.

Are there dragon trolls? lol

That's pretty clear too, I don't think anyone would confuse it with the deformed rabbit. If they did it have to be a very deformed rabbit.

I saw that one a while ago. I am not sure how to classify it.

Some of the violence was quite sickening.

I agree it is a brilliant film, I just don't think I could handle watching it again. Although I did think that some characters showed amazing courage and dignitiy.

I have been sick and off work so have worked my way through Numb3rs.

I like the maths aspect and David is such an underrated actor.

;)

I highly recommend that series (The Farseer Trilogy) An excellent read/s

Seen a few films over the past week or so, can't remember what though

The Matrix Trilogy - Goes down hill after the first one
Harts War - I found it to be an enjoyable WWII court drama. Takes place in a POW camp
Run, Fatboy, Run - I read the reviews and it didn't do too well. I was surprised after finally seeing it, I thought it was really quite good

That pretty much sums it up for me too.

Watched A Scanner Darkly again. I don't think it does the book justice, but still an enjoyable film. I expected more from Robert Downey Jr playing Barris.

Think I'll re-read it when I finish A Hat Full of Sky. I thought the book was simply amazing, and I wished it was longer but the truth is it ended perfectly and more pages would only have spoiled it.

The parts that really got to me was the guy trying to push the gun away from his face and the whole slamming a guys face into pulp.

It was so sadistic.
