I watched Robin Hood on the plane. I was intregued to listen to Russell Crowe's wandering accent. It was like a tour of the British Isles.

I also watched Iron Man 2 and Transformers. Although I've now got the two mixed up in my head. If only Iron Man had been available to sort out the Decpticons.

That sounds awesome. Would love to see the Hulk kick Megatron's arse!

The Witches of Eastwick! Great movie, only I've never been able to understand why they choose Jack Nicholson. I mean, he's great when it comes to playing the devil, but I just don't buy the handsome charmeur thing...
I understood it completely - these women had something missing in their lives & he knew what it was & supplied it. But I still don't fancy him!

My friend & I watched 'Up' yesterday evening. We loved it.
Very different from any other cartoon film. We also watched the making of it, after the main film & a lot of the production team went out to Venezuela to see the area they wanted to show in the film & Angel Falls. Amazing place!
They wanted the place in the film to be a real place. Weird rock shapes weathered by wind & rain, strange plants that only grow on the tops of tepuis. The artists painted lots of pictures on location to be included in the film. They said only about 100 people had ever been to the places they went as they are so remote. I have never know a cartoon film be so thoroughly researched before.

My favourite animation of last year was Fantastic Mr Fox.

Up was good, its in my top 10 from last year but not my top 3 - Mr Fox, Dist 9 and Basterds.
