I saw Burke & Hare last night. It would have been better if they'd concentrated more on making a good film than on getting cameos for their mates.

I saw it last week. I felt the ending was a bit weak but I still enjoyed it. I'm used to the constant stream on cameos from mates as most US comedies seem to do it...it's like Where's Wally if you know who they are, and if you don't it's not too distracting.

To me the film felt like the nearest thing we've had to a Carry On film in ages!

I've watched a few films recently and the A-TEAM- There is no plan b is a pure win film. I've watched it twice and it's so funny. I almost cried with laughter when the tank went straight into the river when the person was complaining about scaring the fish, oh sorry for spoiling it.

Welcome StevenF50!

I enjoyed A-Team a lot more than I thought I would. Can't wait to see it again on DVD.

Late last night I saw "Days of Wine and Roses" again with Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick. It was made in the 1960's and shot in black and white. It follows an advertising man's romancing of a non-drinking secretary, their great love for each other, and thier slide from social drinking to alcoholic depravity. The scene where he tears up his father-in-laws hot house looking for a bottle of scotch is one of the best scenes I have ever seen in a movie. I rarely watch a movie more than once. But I have found myself watching this one as if for the first time for years now. Powerful performances.

JUST WATCHED PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 , A LITTLE PUZZLED DID THE DOG DIE AND DOES ITS GHOST APPEAR IN THE BASEMENT ? TRYING TO WORK OUT THE LAST INFRA-RED SHOTS o_O
Woah spoilers!

invis-o-text I think the dog did die but I have no idea about its ghost in the basement, that bit was kind of confusing...the dog was the best character in the film  invis-o-text

I will check for that next time I pass it at work..
