I actually watched "american werewolf in London" at the weekend for the first time ever! found myslef quite freaked out by it...
Brilliant film, best transformation scene ever!

Going down the escalators on the underground always makes me think of American Werewolf in Lomdon.

Brilliant film and great choice of music for background. "Blue Moon", "Bad Moon Rising", "Moondance", etc. almost made me laugh as much as the film.

Finally finished watching Firefly. Thanks again Bouncy.
Haven't watched the spin off film yet but will this week.

What a series.

How did they cancel it. Characters are both fantastic and intriguing.

it feels so cut off at the end. ah well.

Looking forward to seeing how the film ties it all up.

How cool is that?!

What was your favourite episode? Mine is Out of Gas. You should watch the extra on the DVD of Adam Baldwin singing the Jaynestown anthem - with the hat on. 8)

Out of Gas was brilliant. The atmosphere was done so well and the flashbacks were a nice touch.

Loved War Stories particularly for the Argument continuing barely interupted by extreme torture.

Honestly wasn't an episode i regretted watching and it was getting better and better as it went on.

Need to watch them again I think.

As for what I've watched reccently:

Due Date :)
Another Year
Since Friday - all the Harry Potters in preparation for next week!
Last night, Police Academy 2  guilty pleasure
This morning, first two episodes of Supernatural Season 5

Booked my Harry Potter tickets over the weekend and also watched Legion, Knight and Day and Beauty and The Beast (had to let herself pick one)

Is Legion any good?

I heard its bad but my other half is aching to watch it. o_O
It was a bit of a let don to be honest. Probably because i'm a big fan of Paul Bettany its disconcerting to see him in a horror. Its a slower pace than i'd like this kind of film to be as well .

I saw The Devil's Backbone (good, not great) and Scott Pilgrim vs The World over the weekend.

Well, I say I saw Scott Pilgrim, but we fell asleep about 45 minutes in. Not that it was bad, we were just tired.

The Devil's Backbone is brilliant, Willem doesn't know what he's talking about :p
I keep meaning to see it, I'm a big Del Toro fan, it's the only one of his I haven't seen - of his Spanish language trilogy I love Cronos and pan's Labyrinth. Love Hellboy 1 and 2 and Blade 2. Was interested to see what his version of the Hobbit would've been like but, oh well. Looking forward to his next, a remake of Disney's Haunted Mansion sans Eddie Murphy. I just wish he could re-do Mimic the way he wanted to .

The Legend Of The Guardians, The Owls of Ga'Hoole. Saw this film on Thursday in 3D.
The effects, painting, drawing, animation & dialog were very good, as was the music, but the plot wasn't so good. It had been done before in other films & bits of it were hard to follow. It is still a watchable film & people who love owls will enjoy it, I think, though I'll not bother to get the DVD when it's released. Having typed that, another viewing of it might actually make it make sense. :)
