Yeah - you watched 9, the post-apocalyptic animated film with rag dolls. I thought it was pretty awesome and intense too. Around the same time Nine came out out, the musical semi-remake of 8 1/2 starring Daniel Day Lewis and lots of women. Also really good, but very different!
Also, for me, How to Train Your Dragon is tying with Toy Story 3 for best animated film this year...
Jackie Chan was indeed brilliant. They obviously wanted him for the part, hence all the kung fu instead of karate. I can't say they made a mistake. Jaden Smith was just like his dad (who is delicious - watch out for this one).
I also saw Despicable Me (so cute!) at the cinema, and I was the only one in there. If I hadn't gone, would they have still run the film? And does the projectionist get a pair of 3D specs so he/she can watch as well?
