Saw Harry Potter yesterday, pretty good. It was dark - as it should be. First HP movie that really feels right in my book.
It was good , very dark and close to the book.

It didn't help that she knew it was coming but what can you do.

Heartless goon sitting near us thought it was hilarious that quite a few of the female folk (and probably one or two males) got upset.

Same here. The dance scene got a lot of laughs too!
It was a nice touch.

Thought the whole camping thing could really drag in the film but this helped a lot .

We're having a bit of a Robert Redford fest at the moment - although somewhat coincidentally. Last night we watched 'All The Presdent's Men' and a couple of nights ago, we saw 'The Horse Whisperer'. Both of which were excellent. We also saw 'Toy Story 2', which was great fun.

One of the reasons for watching The Horse Whisperer is that we are both reading (to each other) a book called 'The Smoke Jumper' by Nicholas Evans. He's the author of the book that The Horse Whisperer was based on. We are enjoying the book so much we wanted to see the film of his other book. I'd highly recommend both movie and book.
