I remember it was a bit nasty, but the bit that stays in my mind is the ending. I felt it was so sad that it was most likely that she died & the fairy bit was all in her mind. My Spanish friend on the other hand loved it & thought it was a happy ending.

Yeah I was not sure if it should be a happy ending or not.

Mind you by then I was in a somewhat shocked state and I think my brain was retreating to its own happy place!

Since it was not a feel good movie I was not sure what i should be thinking, if in fact I could get the brain to think.

I think it is a brilliant movie just so intense.

I saw Stardust in the cinema, but I wasn't all that impressed by it, I have seen far better films. I did like Enchanted though.

deathproof with kurt russel slow first have brills second half nearly cried at what they did to the cars. if your a petrol head you would understand ;)
Wasn't it more a case of "slow two hours, 5 minutes of action at the end"? Although the last 5 minutes were good though. BTW I think what happened to the characters was supposed to be more tragic than what happened to the cars (possibly not though)

Just watched Hot Fuzz (again). I swear it's so funny, wine almost came out of my nose
I adore that movie. It is just so funny I end up in pain, and have to watch bits over again as I miss things because of the whole tears in the eyes, howling with laughter thing.

I've been entertaining myself with the first season of Dead Like Me, which I thought was great and funny! And, thankfully, not addicting like Heros or Lost, which kept me up too late because I just had to watch one more episode.. I've also been watching the first couple seasons of my favorite cartoon ever, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Derek and I laugh much more than the Things do! And, the last few nights we've been watching Firefly. I love that show.
