Saw Sorcerer's Apprentice yesterday. Pretty standard, so better than expected :)
I saw it at the theatre this Summer and thought it was very good.

Did you catch the bit after the credits? I knew there would be something more, so I stayed. Even the 3 girls, which came in the clean the theatre after, did not know about the bit at the end. Cage has been quite busy of late!

Had a flick through Dogma today. Not too bad.
Cool, I'm a huge Keving Smith fan. I've got loads of comics by him, all the film except Cop Out (which is apparently rubbish) and have inaction figures or Randall, Dante, Jay and Silent Bob. I also have big Jay and Silent Bob talking figures that do move.
Have to be honest, the best bits about it was Alan Rickman as Metatron. And Silent Bob channelling Indiana Jones. "No ticket." But as far as lampooning organised religion goes, I prefer Life of Brian.

Life of brian is good but I prefer Holy Grail.

And Alan Rickman does RULE in everything he is in.

I'm heading down to the cinemas later today to watch Tron: Legacy. That will be the third movie I've watched this year at the cinemas, fourth if you count watching Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance at a film festival.

So, this year, I have watched:

Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton version)

Let Me In

Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance

And soon, Tron: Legacy

Anyway, just watched Tron: Legacy in 3D. Story's a vast improvement on the original (which isn't saying much), and the religious overtones are more subtle. That being said, the story could have been a little more complex, but hey, the visual spectacle was...well, spectacular. Nothing else can be said.

And I don't care what anyone else says about the de-aged Flynn/CLU head, that was bloody amazing, doing that for pretty much an entire film.

Started watching 'Letters to Juliet' but luckily even my wife got bored with it after half an hour.
We saw a trailer for it at the movies some time ago and it was one of those were you've pretty much seen the movie already watching the trailer.

I still feel guilty not watching the last hour though. It's just not proper.
