Know how you feel Dave. My g/f's hubby was a body builder and everytime I went to their place for a movie night he kept saying "Watch Terminator" Nooooooooooooo. Only Arnie movie we had seen was Conan (it was even thier dogs name) and we hated it. Took us ten years!!! And we LOVED it.

Ohhhhhhhhh I watched the Sound Of Music last night (and sang along)

Just watching the last of a little New Zealand film. The Man Who Lost His Head. Martin Clunes is a straight laced museum curator who is sent to NZ to return an ancient carving to a small Maouri community.

They did a sing-along version of Sound of Music in a cinema in Cardiff a few years ago. They had the word on the screen so people could follow them and lots of people came in fancy dress.

They do that four or five times a year in Sydney and Melbourne. I haven't seen it in Brissy yet :( Friend of mine that does Rocky Horror tried to secure the sing-a-long rights but didn't have any success.
