Yes, but my understanding is that Tempe is middle-aged in the books, but young in the TV show even though the TV show is set in a contemporary time frame.

And Bird, the cat is a great favourite of mine.

She's gonna have to hurry up and have a daughter with Pete then, if the books are to eventually match up with the TV show!

I am watching "Crimes That Shook The World". I reminds me that while I was travelling in the UK... I slept overnight on a railway station bench since it seemed silly to get a hotel for four hours til my train arrived..... WHILE THAT SUTCLIFFE GUY WAS KILLING WOMEN in the area.... noone told ME there was a serial killer....

And then I went to Florence....... and me and another Aussie mate thought it would be okay to go for a walk through the woods at midnight (well it was gorgeous weather) WHILE A SERIAL KILLER WAS KILLING COUPLES IN THE SAME WOODS AT THE TIME.... noone told any of us that there was a serial killer in the area!

Don't want to tell the tourists ANYTHING do you..... might hurt the tourist trade.

Oh Oh Oh.... AND

Last night I watched a report from an American broadcaster.... it was a 15 minute report on Libya and Gadaffi...... ALL the material they reported on Gadaffi was courtesy of Wikileaks information.....

ummmmmm......... okay....... does anyone else think this is a little surreal?

Just seemed strange that America consider Julian Assange a terrorist for releasing confidential information.... and yet they are using it for a supposedly informative and concise newsworthy opinion on a very intense international affair.

Saw New York, I love you... I preferred Paris, je t'aime, and that one was pretty bad already... :p
Paris je t'aime was such a weird movie. o_O In the beginning I kept thinking the little stories would join up,nope  and the story with the vampire really confused me,so very random. o_O
