I watched Gulliver's Travels recently. Even with a soft spot for Jack Black and Jason Segel, it didn't do anything for me. It seemed to think that doing a lot of things against me would compensate for it - I'll show you all on the dolly if you like.

I know! I have a freeview box but no hard drive so I still record to VHS when the programme is not on 4od or iplayer or whatever. Which isn't very often.

My young one and I are watching "Mr Bean's Holiday" on cable. Its raining so hard here we had to put on the subtitles because we can't hear the TV over the rain.

When Mr Bean chases a chicken into a shed (the chicken has a ticket stuck to its foot) and he looks up and realises there are several thousand chickens in the shed.... the subtitles went....

I just watched Trolljegeren or Troll hunter in english. IT IS SO EPIC it's one of the best norwegian films I have ever seen. this is going in my top 10 fav movies

Finally saw The King's Speech! Colin Firth really deserved that Oscar...

Dito to this. Great, great movie. Funny and absurd but somehow still feels real.

Watched this on saturday. Bloody brilliant.
Geoffrey Rush deserved an oscar as well.
I've decided to have a rant at the IFTAS (our version of the Baftas) who share our building cos they didn't even give a nomination to the Kings Speech in any category.
