Saw the Informant yesterday which was funny in an understated way. Going through my collection these days, watching any movie I haven't seen yet :)
I want to see Informant, didnt get it at my cinema. Will get it when I see it cheap I think. Yesterday I bought the Limited Edition DVDs of Going Postal £4 in HMV and Hogfather £5 in Head (awesome cheap shop like Zavvi that uses their old premises). :) Haven't seen either yet so will give my verdict soon.

Max Boyce - Live from Treorchy Again.

The follow up concert nearly 40 years after the first one  it took me back to my childhood and my Dad having the original album
 A bunch of us went to Majorca years ago and we went into a bar. The Spanish owner asked us where we were from and when we said 'Wales' he disappeared behind the bar and after a bit of rummaging he triumphantly held up a cassette tape.

It was Max Boyce Live at Treorchy. He put it on and we spent the whole evening singing along to it. Lots of other customers came in, listened and then left.
I went on a cruise around the pacific islands when I was way younger on a Russian cruise liner. At the time Russia was still closed and there had been the famous "girl in a red bikini" (Russian girl jumped ship and swam ashore for asylum) so the Russians had security ALL over the ship in case any of the crew "associated" with westerners.

We went into the cinema to watch the movie which turned out to be James Bond "To Russia With Love" and guards standing down both sides of the seats. Every time James Bond won over the Russians the audience would BOOOOOOOO!   like in a pantomime.

Eden Lake, a British thriller (horror?) about a couple that gets terrorised by some kids in the woods. Pretty good actually although I can't imagine why I downloaded this in the first place - it's not the kind of movie I'd usually go for.

Now you've made me think about the Expendables. I need some brain bleach, that film was awful! Sly has turned into his mum  And Arnie made his worst appearance ever (I really mean that).

Which reminds me.... I have this on DVD!

HERCULES RETURNS!

   A really bad Hercules movie REDUBBED in 1993. One of the funniest movies you will ever see. We still use quotes from the movie all the time.... (alot of fractured latin and convoluted Latin type names for the characters)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107103/

A pair of likely lads plan to relaunch an old theatre in a gala fanfare and seconds before its due to begin they discover the film is in Italian... so they decide to overdub it themselves as it runs
