Ayup All...

Unless I posted here before, and I'm contradicting myself, In reverse order...

Equal Rites.

Pyramids

And Top...

Reaper Man.

Out of all Pterrys Characters, I Like Death most. Such a compassionate Being...

Granny Weatherwax is, well, Just the 'Best' Granny ever. And Pteppic is well, Pteppic. In fact, I think Pteppic could do with being re-visited.

Ayup Author3...

Thanks Mate.

I'm sorry to say, I'm not into the Uberwald thing...

If I could have a fourth, I'd choose Small Gods...

I read 'The Amazing Morris' first (and it's still one of my favourites) when I was about eight but didn't get into the adult ones until I was about fourteen and now I'm hooked! The man's a genius.

(And as I am a hopeless nitpicker: Wasn't it 'Maurice' ?)

LilMaibe you are absolutely right, it is Maurice. Damn, stupid mistake :S I am ashamed...
Did you read it in some other language? It's actually Morris in the finnish translation as well.

This sure is hard.
1. Hogfather
2. Small gods
3. Difficult to decide, probably Maskerade.

I haven't read all of the books yet, so my opinion may change.

I'm going to have to revisit this book at some point because a few people have put it top of their lists and I'm wondering why. The wizards sub-plot became so ridiculous and invasive that it completely spoiled the main Death plot-line for me. I'm nearly through all the main Discworld books now and Reaper Man is still the one I least enjoyed.

Ayup Teppic...

Sorry to Hear. Yes, I think the Wizards sub-plot is silly, (and should be , IMO for DW !) but the story of Bill-Door, the Harvest, Miss Flitworth and the Little Girl saved from the Boiling Brandy is so Deeply Touching for me...

Small Gods (cos of all the smiting)

hmm hard to choose a 3rd. Do I have to? Can't I just choose ALL the books with the night watch in them and rincewind?
