What should I do?

Hi,

I am new to all this and have one question. Everyone who i know who reads say that i should read Terry Pratchett books but i dont know. I have a few but never really looked at them.

So should i start reading them?

and I agree, read the books.If you read them and don't like them shock ,you can just stop reading them.No harm done,nothing to loose.

Look inside the front cover and check out the date printed.

but the first one printed is The Colour of Magic but maybe not the best one for everyone to start on, as the style of writing was different then.

Not really but it would help as some kind of follow on or events are quoted in others and you might find it a bit puzzling.

Keep on reading and then decide how you want to do it.

If you start on Reaper Man you would miss out a bit on Death's past as he is the only charater to appear in all the books, a bit difficult to say where when I don't know how many or what books you have, ie it would not be a good idea to read Men at arms before Guards,Guards as they are watch books.
