what book have you always wanted to read but youve never got round to it, mine are the foundation series by asimov ive got them but they have sat unread for years

Mine are the Time Riders series by Alex Scarrow.They sound really good but every time I see then in a bookshop I end up buying something else instead

Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel. I've got half way through it before, but somehow ran out of steam and now I'd have to start it again. It's so beautifully written, so I'd like to have another go (but it's a flipping big book).

One would be "A mote in god's eye" by Larry Niven and Jerry pournelle. I have the sequel "The Gripping Hand", it was given to me years ago, and one of my earliest books. i enjoyed it (though slow) and always meant to read the first one, but never got around to it, or in general forgot about it.

I have a few like that, I will have to get around to reading them or donate them.

Because of the book-reading blogs that I have done elsewhere, I actually have to think about reading books I either normally would never read, or else would put on the bucket list. However, I do want to finish the Rifters Trilogy by Peter Watts (I have read the first book, Starfish), restart the Dark Tower series from where I left off (Wizard & Glass) and finish that, along with the Dune novels (I'm up to Heretics of Dune, but haven't gotten around to reading that).

The only thing I've actually started, and never finished for don't know what reasons is Stephen King's Needful things. I have the book in italian, it's quite big, and I was enjoying it, but without even realising I always put it aside in favor of something else. Maybe because I find it a bit slow, still one day I'd like to finish it

I know what you mean Crys - just finished Under the Dome by King. Took me one and a half years to finish because there was always some other book beckoning me to read first.

I can't think of anything I especially want to read - picked up Aldous Huxley's Brave New World yesterday - that was something I meant to get around to.

brave new world is one of my favourite books also, i nicked it from school as we were doing a different book in our syllabus and the english lit teacher wouldnt lend me it, stupid bloody woman
